Calendar roles, access and feature activation

Modified on Fri, 9 Oct at 12:33 PM

Access to the Calendar tab and its sub-areas is governed by the user's role in the organisation, together with the feature toggle that enables the Calendar-tool itself.

Read access

Users with read access see the Calendar tab and can open every appointment they are linked to (directly, or via a user group, patient group, programme, custom calendar or template). Admins, content creators and therapists all have read access.

Read access includes joining a video appointment, copying a video link, and viewing the participants and consent answers on an appointment's Details panel.

Edit access

Users with edit access can create, edit and delete appointments, apply templates, and manage custom calendars. Edit access is granted to admins and content creators only. Therapists only have read-only access in the Calendar, meaning that a therapist who needs to schedule an appointment should ideally refer to an administrator or content creator in their organisation.

Feature toggles

The Calendar tools can be activated via feature toggles on each organisation, found under the Experimental features list:

  • New calendar — enables the new Calendar tab and its sub-areas (Calendar, Templates, Custom calendars).
  • Group calendar — keeps the previous group-session calendar visible. This toggle can be turned off once your organisation has moved fully to the new Calendar.
